About Amy Bock

I began navigating the virtual world in high school, when I joined websites and followed blogs based on my interests. I learned how to engage with others in different digital spaces, all of which had their own rules and expectations. It was clear to me that the internet at its best could be a powerful platform for exchanging ideas and building community.

Due to my internet savvy, my former place of employment – a small family business – tasked me with starting a Facebook page. We worked with other social media companies, and found more success with those who understood our aims as a small family business, who took into account not our brand on a broad scale, but what we specifically offered to our clients. After some time, I was given control of the Facebook pages for both of our locations and continued to reflect the business’s mission in my posts.

In 2023, I started my digital marketing business. I now help small business owners and solopreneurs build and expand their social media presence; I develop a plan with each client according to their needs and goals (which are often evolving).

My work has been in a variety of fields, including education, business consultancy and grief counseling. Services include, but are not limited to, building social media pages and profiles and promoting events on Eventbrite, LinkedIn and Facebook, and posting videos on YouTube for convenient distribution.
